BulletPROOF

About BulletPROOF

BulletPROOF is the brainchild of two young independent developers — Nolan Idle and Angie Pereira — who believe that the pursuit of truth should never be compromised by misinformation. We are both high school students at Maple Grove Senior High School, located in Maple Grove, Minnesota. Our journey began not in a corporate lab, but in a small classroom where curiosity met conviction.

Our Story

As high school students witnessing the rise of misinformation online, we realized how hard it can be to separate fact from fiction — especially for young audiences who rely on digital news. Driven by a shared passion for technology and journalism, we built BulletPROOF to be a bridge between truth and technology.

What started as a small research project evolved into a mission: to create an AI-powered verification engine that analyzes articles, detects bias, and calculates trust scores in real time. With no corporate funding, just determination, long nights, and countless lines of code, BulletPROOF grew into a full-fledged platform.

Who We Are

Nolan Idle is the lead developer and designer of BulletPROOF. With a deep interest in artificial intelligence and ethical software design, Nolan ensures that every algorithm aligns with journalistic integrity and transparency.

Angie Pereira focuses on content analysis and linguistic modeling. Combining her love for writing and technology, Angie bridges the human and machine understanding of language, helping BulletPROOF read like a journalist and reason like an analyst.

Together, we form a team that blends creativity with code, ethics with innovation, and truth with technology — driven by a shared belief that information deserves to be accurate and accountable.

Our Mission

We aim to make truth verification accessible to everyone — students, journalists, and citizens alike. By combining natural language processing, data verification, and transparency-driven design, BulletPROOF allows anyone to analyze claims and see how reliable they truly are.

Our philosophy is simple: truth should be verifiable. We believe in a future where artificial intelligence strengthens democracy, empowers journalism, and restores public trust in information.

Life at Maple Grove

Being full-time students at Maple Grove Senior High School means our development schedule runs between homework, robotics meetings, and late-night debugging sessions. Yet, our community inspires us — teachers who support our work, classmates who test early versions, and local mentors who remind us that truth is worth fighting for.

Maple Grove, Minnesota, is where our story continues — a suburban hub that blends technology, education, and creativity. From school computer labs to local coffee shops, BulletPROOF was born out of determination, curiosity, and the unwavering belief that young minds can shape the digital future.

Every line of code we write is infused with purpose. Every design choice is guided by clarity. And every goal — from expanding our AI models to partnering with schools nationwide — is driven by our belief that accurate information is not just a privilege; it’s a right.

Where We’re Headed

We’re currently preparing BulletPROOF’s public beta release, with plans to expand our verification datasets and introduce open-source collaboration tools for journalists and students. In the long term, we envision a global network of truth engines powered by communities, educators, and developers who believe in integrity.
